CAVIA, developed by TendersLab, is an AI-powered mobile and backend platform for continuous digital biomarker collection. The platform combines data from 42+ smartphone sensors and data points (e.g., location, motion, screen usage, social patterns) to build a real-time, high-resolution picture of individual health states.
How It Works
The platform operates on a validated "Collect-Analyze-Act" loop, designed to provide early diagnosis without compromising privacy:
- Collect: The app passively collects digital biomarkers from the device (social interactions, movement patterns, device usage) without requiring active user input.
- Analyze: Data is analyzed using rule sets derived from 500+ confirmed research papers in neurology and psychiatry.
- Alert: Personalized health alerts are generated for users and clinicians when digital phenotypes indicate a risk (e.g., signs of depression or early Parkinson's).
Privacy First: Critically, all immediate analysis is designed to be privacy-preserving. The system generates insights without broadcasting raw personal data (such as message content or specific call details) from the device.
